Guess who entered the six sixes club!
It’s Kieron Pollard of the West Indies Cricket team.
The Windies captain while going against Sri Lanka delivered his best, bringing victory to his side with four-wickets in the T20 format. While doing so, Pollard also became the third player to hit six sixes in an over in international cricket.
The incredible feat by Pollard was pulled off in the sixth over when the Windies were on the batting side with the off-spinner Akila Dananjaya on the bowling side who also celebrated a hattrick in the match.
Earlier to Pollard, Yuvraj Singh while going against England in 2007 and Herschelle Gibbs in 2007 against Netherlands pulled off this feat. The Windies Cricket official social media celebrated the achievement of Pollard by sharing a video of the player where he can be seen celebrating it with his special gesture.
