Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed India Global Week 2020 where several global leaders and captains of different Industries will participate to discuss aspects relating to opportunities in India as well as the global economic revival post-COVID.
In his speech, the PM reiterated that the Government is focusing on both the health of the compatriot and the nation’s economy as the pandemic has taken a toll on us. India is set to open its door to global investors as the country is becoming a hub for exporting goods and services.
He also emphasized on the necessary support being provided to lower economic class so that they don’t undergo loans during the crisis hour along with promoting local goods and cottage industries for making a self-reliant India.
As the country’s GDP has contracted in the past few months, the Government is also looking forward to reform Agricultural sectors by providing up-class infrastructures.
PM Modi while going live also praised the Indian spirit which always strives for development and achieves milestones even in impossible situations.
The India Global Week 2020 event will be held virtually for three days which is expected to be attended by 5000 participants from over 30 nations.
