To fight the COVID-19 and ensure the safety of the athletes, earlier this month the International Olympics Committee and Government of Japan took a joint decision to postpone the Olympics event that was supposed to happen in Tokyo, Japan, to the 2021 summers.
Now the organizers and the key parties through a telephonic conference released the new schedule of the Olympics 2021.
Still termed as Tokyo Olympics 2020, the grand sporting events will be held from 23 July to 8 August, while the Paralympics will be held from 24 August to 5 September 2021.
