The new schedule for the 2020-21 season of Marsh Sheffield, Marsh One Day Cup and Women’s Cricket League has been announced by Cricket Australia.
In the announcement released by the Cricket Australia, the organizers also stated: “After consultation with States and Territories Associations and the Australian Cricketers’ Association, CA has agreed to condense both the Marsh Sheffield Shield and Marsh One-Day Cup in recognition of the extra requirements and responsibilities placed upon players, officials and staff on account of the coronavirus pandemic and related bio-security protocols.”
Starting on 15 April this year, the finals of the Marsh Sheffield Shield will be held till 19 April meanwhile the finals of Marsh One-Day Cup will be played on 11 April in a home-and-away format if there are no restrictions between state borders.
Coming to the Women’s National Cricket League, the matches between the teams will start from 10 February and the finals will be held on 27 March.
