World Athletics after the resumption of training of athletes in different parts of the world, has issued a four-year strategic plan and the guidelines for qualifying the Olympics.
After having several virtual meetings with the Athletic federations of the world, the Organization jointly decided to bring new guidelines, giving paramount importance to the health of athletes and staff, meanwhile focusing on the development of sports.
After the meet, the World organization released the statement highlighting the key points of their four-year plan which talks about the development of sports by conduction of various events on different levels across the world and giving the opportunity to the sports enthusiasts to have a closer look at the benefits of sports.
Emphasizing on the importance of fitness, the World Athletics Centre also shared the amendments that have been made for the Tokyo Olympics that is now slated to take place next year.
Giving relaxation to the age bars for Under 19 and Under 20 athletes, qualifying rules for all the events stay the same for the next year’s Olympics events.
