1. Save seconds during an emergency
Using Android Emergency Location Service, one can get help sooner. For this, Google is working with local public safety officials to reduce the emergency response time by improving access to accurate location information.
2. Alert about earthquakes around you
Android phones can now alert you about earthquakes with the help of Android Earthquake Alerts System, faster and accurate information when you look up for earthquakes near me on Google Search.
3. Get more work done in the car
Thanks to new updates on Android Auto, one can do more work in a day without having to glance at your phone. Like, a quick look into your daily schedule on the car display using calendar app and get the directions of a location or making a phone call.
4. Sleep without interruptions
Remember that time when checking one notification turned into staying up an hour past your bedtime? Now, Google has launched Bedtime mode, reminding you when it’s time for bed and limit interruptions by keeping your phone dark and quiet while you sleep.
5. Lookout makes the world more accessible
An app that uses computer vision to help blind or low vision people to get things done faster and easily. Lookout scans documents into text or identifies products from the labels.
