Karan Johar’s period drama, ‘Takht’ will be released on 24 December 2021!
A star studded movie, ‘Takht’ features Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Alia Bhatt. The teaser of the much awaited movie was dropped by the makers where they also revealed that the movie’s principal photography will begin in March.
In the teaser’s voiceover, they emphasize how history would look different to us if problems were solved by love and not waging wars. Set in the Mughal era, ‘Takht’ chronicles the story of the two warring princes, Aurangzeb and Dara Shikoh.
Posting the teaser on Instagram, Alia wrote, “Takht ✨ releasing 24.12.21 #HirooYashJohar @karanjohar @apoorva1972 #SumitRoy @ranveersingh #KareenaKapoorKhan @aliaabhatt @vickykaushal09 @bhumipednekar @janhvikapoor @anilskapoor @somenmishra @dharmamovies”.
On the other hand, after a constant change of release dates for ‘Brahmastra’, the movie finally has a release date. Fans of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor can now see their favourite Bollywood pair on the big screens on 4 December 2020!
Touted as a fantasy adventure trilogy, ‘Brahmastra’ will see Ranbir play the role of Shiva, a character with special powers and Alia getting into the skin of the protagonist named Isha. The first part of ‘Brahmastra’ also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in significant roles.
A dream project for Ayan Mukerji, who has written and helmed the movie that will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Also, Alia shared a funny video on her social media to reveal the final date of ‘Brahmastra’.
