La Liga has confirmed that five players have been tested positive for coronavirus across Spain’s top two divisions, La Liga Santander and La Liga SmartBank. Each of them are asymptotic, will be allowed to restart practicing after testing negative twice and till them the players will be home quarantined.
With the name of the player’s name not disclosed, La Liga will follow the recommendations of the CSD (Spanish High Sports Council) and to the Spanish Ministry of Health to stop the spread of COVID-19 and get others infected by it. Safety of the people is the club’s outmost priority at this point of time.
La Liga’s training plan includes players initially carrying out work individually before joining small groups and finally taking part in larger team sessions. Till then, let’s pray for the health of positive tested players!
