Indian Railways has formulated a strategic exit from the lockdown by starting passenger trains with certain guidelines.
This new plan will come in effect from 12 May as the passenger trains will start running in various part of the country and the tickets of which will only be available through IRCTC website and mobile app from 4 PM today onwards. The train station counters won’t be open for now to ensure the safety of passengers and the officials.
The Railway Ministry released the new guidelines that are to be followed by all the passengers and the Railway for the resumption of train services. 15 pairs of trains will start their journey from New Delhi to a different part of the country with Railway planning to introduce more special trains on new routes.
According to the Ministry of Railway, only the passengers with confirmed tickets will be allowed to enter the station and mask along with screening is mandatory for all the travellers.

Apart from this, the lockdown 3.0 is about to end on 17 May and the PM Modi is holding the fifth meeting with all the Chief Minister via video conferencing today from 3 PM for a strategic exit from lockdown to fight COVID-19 pandemic.
