COVID-19 infection in the state of Karnataka has been seeing a sharp increase by each passing day and is adding many elite names in its victim list. Mandaya Lok Sabha MP Sumalatha Ambareesh has recently been found positive of COVID-19 infection.
Sumalatha on 4 July was suffering from a headache and throat infection, post which she went for the test, suspecting to be infected with Coronavirus while performing her official duties.
Taking to her Twitter account Sumlatha Ambareesh shared a series of tweets declaring that she is indeed COVID-19 positive with very mild symptoms and is going into self quarantine, following her doctor’s prescription.
In another tweet she also urged all the individuals who came in contact with her to stay safe and get checked immediately if they develop any of the symptoms.

The results have arrived today. It is positive with very mild symptoms and I have been advised home treatment.
