American singer Rihanna and Swedish activist Greta Thunberg took to Twitter to express concerns for the ongoing protests by the farmers in India against the contentious farm laws.
Both the popular stars extended their support to the farmer-led movement and shared a news story about the internet shutdowns in Delhi. They have lent their voices to the ongoing protests and condemned the crackdown on farmers who were at three main protest sites at the capital’s borders – Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur.

Several celebrities, from Kamala Harris’s niece Meera Harris to YouTube sensation Lily Singh, are all coming out on Twitter and voicing out this protest.
