The United States has been one of the worst hit nations by the pandemic and demands an progenetive and interactive plan to ensure the safety of the citizens without absconding any demographic aspect.
Hence, to extend Government’s support to the vulnerable senior citizens of the nation, President Trump and his administration are following a four part strategy, under which the White House and the Department of Health and Human Services will provide weekly data to States on high risk nursing homes.
The Government will also sanction five billion dollars to all the nursing homes which receive funds from Medicare or Medicaid reimbursement.
To enhance testing, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is also mandating that all nursing homes in states test their entire staff each week and the Administration will continue providing nursing homes with substantial technical assistance and training focused on infection control to be practiced inside the premises.
