Ever imagined what do comedians, singers, goalkeepers, mountaineers have in common? It’s their travel stories. Red Bull Media House presents On the Road Stories, where ten different artists from across India, share their most bizarre, hilarious and exhilarating travel stories. Just like their personalities, their tales are diverse, weird and unique. In ten animated episodes of the first season, artists like Abish Mathew, Benny Dayal, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and many more, unfold their most dramatic travel moments, taking us through a roller coaster ride that they have experienced.

Episode 1: Abish Mathew
In the very first episode, Abish Mathew talks about his initial days as a comedian. He takes it back to the year 2009 or 2010, when he performed in Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi, only to realize his fear of women, on the stage. From being asked for the college ID card to the restricted response of the girls during his performance, every moment is vividly etched in his mind. To make it more memorable, Abish also receives a peck on his cheeks from the College Principal.

Episode 2: Benny Dayal
72 hours, 3 flights, 5 gigs! Benny Dayal, the pop sensation, recalls a story of his hectic schedule of year 2013. Non-stop traveling gave rise to the loss of singer’s voice before the final gig. Benny somehow gets on the stage to perform. Audience cheers and showers him with love, motivating the singer to deliver a power-pack show.

Episode 3: Su Real
New Delhi to the stunning Valley of Tawang, music artist, Su Real shares his most adventurous journey to Tawang Music Festival. He talks about the time he played electronic music, in a part of the world where there is barely any electricity. In his story, there are unknown serpentine roads leading to UFO, Indo China War Sight and an unexpected snowstorm. Despite everything, people show up and enjoy his show.

Episode 4: Anu Menon
Anu Menon, VJ of Channel V, popular by the name Lola Kutty, talks about her travel story to China. Her story is funny and relatable to any individual facing language barrier issue. In the hope of getting some real good deals on merchandise, Menon gets intimidated by someone much much smaller than her in size.

Episode 5: Sapan Verma
A cherishing, regretful memory of comedian and writer, Sapan Verma, is hilarious, making it a dream of every Bollywood fan. As soon as he turns down a chance to party with Bollywood Superstar, he realizes he is going to regret it throughout his life.

Episode 6: Akriti Kakar
Akriti’s tale is set in Patna, where the singer meets a scary emergency. A very bomb show of the singer actually turns into a bomb show. Akriti, unknown of the facts, makes a very weird exit along with her crew, ending up in the SUV and laughing at the incidence.

Episode 7: Rhythm Shaw
Ever heard of painting the sun black? Mumbai-based singer and guitarist, Rhythm Shaw, takes up a story where he discovers various life truths like being independent, performing in sub-zero temperature zone after a sleepless night, and most importantly a chilly summer of Nordic nation.

Episode8: Shivangi Pathak
Shivangi Pathak, one of the youngest Indian Mountaineer, shares her story of Mount Everest expedition. No contact with the family, no contact with the base camp, no energy but a caring and spirited motivator, helped her in overcoming all the adversity, making her reach the top.

Episode 9: Shubham Kajale
Ultramarathon runner Shubham Kajale, reveals how taking part in an Australian event brought him face to face with hammered sharks. Overcoming his fear of open water swimming, Kajale finishes his marathon tired and exhausted, becoming the youngest athlete to complete the race.

Episode 10: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu
A not-so-Mexican standoff between the Army and Indian National Football team. Strange? In the final episode of On the Road Story, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Indian Football player, talks about a hysterical incidence, that took place at the airport. Being rejected by the pilot and getting stuck at the airport, leaving them with no option other than watching a movie. Suddenly a fight for attaining the peak volume becomes a competition between the boys and the army. Winning it with flying colours, players receive comfy beds as the prize.
