Coronavirus has taken a toll on the world and in the past few weeks, we saw many events getting cancelled or postponed. Amidst all the sad news and losses that the world is suffering, another heartbreaking news came from Disney World, California.
This Disney themed-park hosts hundreds, thousands of visitors everyday and hence from the health perspective, it is a place where Coronavirus can spread in a flick of a moment. With such concern, the governing body took the decision of shutting down the entertainment park till the end of this month which will come into effect from 14 March.
In a statement released by the authority of Disneyland Resort, California, along with the announcement of the closure of the park, the guidelines for the cancellation or change of the travel plans of the guests is also mentioned. Meanwhile, the hotels at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris will stay open until further notice.
