Winner of Rolex Paris Masters 2020, Daniil Medvedev!
Defeating German star Alexander Zverev, 5-7, 6-4, 6-1, Medvedev claimed his maiden title. Showing his class in the finals, this also marks the Russian player’s eighth career title and third at a Masters event.
In a thrilling match, this was the first time Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev reached the finals of the Rolex Paris Masters. A tightly contested game with no break points and with 75% of his points coming in from first serve, Medvedev showed more consistency in his game.
On the other hand, Alexander Zverev missed many breakpoint chances and showcased weak forehand shots, unable to put pressure on Daniil on the court. Taking a 3-0 lead with attacking backhand shots, Medvedev won the Paris Masters 2020.
