British actor Andrew Jack who is known to play Major Ematt in the ‘Star Wars’ series passed away at the age of 76 due to serious health complications arising from Coronavirus infection.
Jack also worked as a dialect coach in the Industry and took the last breath of his life in Chertsey, England.
Post the news of Jack’s demise broke out, American filmmaker Matt Reeves took to his official social media handle to send condolences to the family by writing, “Andrew was a legend, and such a kind man. We are all absolutely heartbroken. Our hearts go out to his family. Rest in peace, Andrew…”

World has also lost one of the most renowned American singer and songwriter Adam Schlesinger today. The 52-year-old Grammy winner bid adieu to the world in New York, post the Coronavirus infection.
Tom Hanks who is in self-quarantine after being diagnosed with COVID-19 shared his feelings on the sad news. He took to his social media account and wrote, “There would be no Playtone without Adam Schlesinger, without his That Thing You Do! He was a One-der. Lost him to Covid-19. Terribly sad today. Hanx”.
