Amidst the novel coronavirus, the South Korean company Samsung has extended its warranty on all consumer electronics and mobile products.
Under the 21 days complete lockdown in India to prevent the spread of coronavirus, all business and non-essential shops have been closed to maintain social distancing. At such crucial times, one will not be physically able to go to a Samsung store for repair. Thus, the giant smartphone company is extending the warranty.
Keeping in mind about the well-being of the customers and users, this step was taken by Samsung to keep everyone safe at such times. The standard warranty across all their product portfolio is extended till 31 May 2020. This will be valid for all products whose warranty would have expired in this lockdown period, which is between 20 March and 30 April 2020.
Apart from this, Samsung is also extending the redemption period of offers for pre-booked customers of Galaxy S20. One who has pre-booked the Galaxy S20 can now collect and activate their smartphone till 30 April. Also, these users will be able to redeem the Galaxy Buds+ offer by 15 May.
In these challenging times, we urge you to stay apart but stay together!
