Bollywood or the Hindi film industry of India which gives out almost 1000 films per year is the world’s prevalent film industry. The varying patterns in movies are essentially an outcome of the changing mindsets of the viewers which also brings in new rulers as in new actors in the industry. Each year Bollywood whips out fresh faces and new talents. However, this year has seen many new actors making their screen presence felt.
Here are some of the unveiling actors from 2018 who are bringing a beckon of sparkle with their allure to the industry!
1. Ishaan Khattar
Actor Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother, Ishaan was seen sharing screen opposite Janhvi Kapoor in Dhadak. But before that, he was also the lead actor of Iranian film director Majid Majidi’s India-set film Beyond the Clouds but Dhadak was marked as his debut in Hindi film industry. This boy has that spark and we wish him to see soon.
2. Mithila Palkar
The Marathi cup-song star to web series sensation in India, to lay bets into Bollywood with Karwaan, starring Irrfan Khan and Dulquer Salman. She has an indisputable screen presence, which we saw and loved in Girl In The City, Little Things and other shows.
We would love to see more of this girl on the big screen.
3. Janhvi Kapoor
Janhvi, daughter of late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor made her debut in Shashank Khaitan‘s Dhadak contrary Ishaan Khattar and her onscreen personality absolutely caught our eyeballs.
According to reports, she is tied up for two projects, Takht and Ranbhoomi.
4. Mouni Roy
This bong girl was an established actress in the Telly world even before she entered Bollywood with Akshay Kumar‘s Gold. Mouni had proved her aptitude with admired daily soaps such as Naagin and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and looks like she is all prepared to take Bollywood by the gale now.
Mouni will be seen soon in Ayan Mukherji‘s Brahmastra, with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor and also Made In China with Rajkummar Rao. Pretty excited!
5. Rohan Mehra
Late actor Vinod Mehra‘s son, Rohan was seen sharing screen space with Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte in Bazaar this year. Grown up in Kenya, Rohan came back to India to try his hand at acting after his father’s death. He did a bit of directing too; basically, the boy knew the industry well before stepping in.
6. Sara Ali Khan
Sara Ali Khan is one of those bright newcomers in Bollywood, as in two days her first debut film Kedarnath will be hitting screens and another few for Simmba. We can undoubtedly say she’s a charming actor by only seeing the trailers of the respective movies. We have lots of hopes from this young lady and till then, fingers crossed.
