The host cities for 2030 and 2034 Asian Games have been announced by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).
After a rigorous process of online voting which got delayed due to technical glitch, the capital city of Qatar, Doha is selected to host the 21 edition of the continental multisport event while the 22 edition to be held at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The 39 OCA General Assembly was held at Muscat, Oman in the presence of OCA President, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah who welcomed the member to the ‘New World’. In the General Assembly, the Secretary Generals of Maldives and Lebanon, two long-serving members of the Asian sporting family, were also recognised for their invaluable services and received the Asia Order of Merit of OCA.
