Junior cyclist L Ronaldo Singh hailing from India has scripted history in the world. Topping the UCI ranking in four sprinting events, Ronaldo Singh amazed the world with his wonderful performance while becoming the World Number one in the individual sprint, Keirin and Time Trial events. The young athlete was also the part of the Indian team which topped the Team Sprint rankings.
Earlier, the young athlete shook the world with his extraordinary performance at Asian Track Cycling Championships held at Incheon, South Korea by bagging the gold medal.
Ronaldo Singh won the gold medal in men’s junior Kierin event at the Asian Track Cycling C’ships in Incheon, Korea. James Singh got bronze in same event. India also secured 2 bronze medals in men’s and women’s Jr. sprint team.

On such incredible feat, Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju took to his official social media handle, praising Ronaldo Singh by writing, “Indian Junior cyclist L. Besides Ronaldo, other Indian athletes also showcased their talent at UCI. In the Junior men’s category, Rojit Singh clinched the second and third position in Keirin and Sprint events respectively.
Meanwhile, in Junior Women’s category, Nisha Nikita and Triyasha Paul also outshined by bagging the second and third position in Keirin and 500m Time Trial.
