JK Rowling is no new for all who love the world of Harry Potter. The originator of the famous Harry Potter series, JK Rowling turns a year older today. From ‘The Sorcerer’s Stone’ to ‘The Deathly Hallows’, JK Rowling took the audience on a roller coaster of magic, friendship, and the victory of good over evil.
The world is not only celebrating the 53 birthday of the brainchild, but also the 39 birthday of the boy who stole millions of hearts and made us hoot for him till the very end (Owl Hoot), Harry Potter. Let’s make their birthday special by reminiscing about the story of the full Harry Potter series.
1. Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone (2001)
Harry Potter, an eleven-year-old orphan, discovers that he is a sorcerer and is invited to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a school which teaches magic. During the year, Harry along with his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger become entwined in the mystery of the Sorcerer’s Stone which is being kept within the magic school. After coping up with such troubles, they all return to their home happily for summer vacations.
2. Harry Potter And The Chamber of Secrets (2002)
Harry, Ron and Hermione return to Hogwarts for second year where a mysterious elf warns Harry to expect trouble and that’s what happened. The Chamber of Secrets gets opened leaving students and ghosts horrified by a giant monster. While this was happening, Harry finds himself surrounded in mystery.
3. Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban (2004)
Harry Potter learns that Sirius Black has run-away from the magic prison, Azkaban, and is planning to murder him. In the meantime, Hagrid is distressed when his hippogriff, Buckbeak, is condemned to demise.
4. Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire (2005)
In his fourth year at Hogwarts, Harry is accidentally selected to participate in the inter-school Triwizard Tournament. In the meantime, the magic world remains uninformed of the threatening rise of dark forces.
5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)
Harry Potter and Dumbledore’s cautionary about the coming back of Lord Voldemort is not observed by the wizard authorities who, in turn, look to weaken Dumbledore’s authority at Hogwarts and disgrace Harry.
6. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)
Dumbledore and Harry Potter discovers more about Voldemort’s past and his power. In the meantime, Harry takes control of a bizarrely interpreted school textbook, inscribed ‘This is the property of the Half-Blood Prince’.
7. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – (2010 and 2011)
After Voldemort took over the Ministry of Magic, Harry, Ron and Hermione are entrusted with a quest of Lord Voldemort’s. They try to decode the hints left to them by Dumbledore to discover and abolish Voldemort’s Horcruxes. The movie was divided in two parts.
