Zayn Malik slammed Grammy on Twitter, the man of few words has shaken everyone on the internet.
The British singer and songwriter has expressed his annoyance regarding the nomination process at Grammy Awards. He called out “everyone associated” with the Grammy and stated that “unless you shake hands and send gifts, there’s no nomination considerations”. Putting it all out through a tweet, Zayn stated that from “next year I’ll send you a basket of confectionary.”

After a few hours, Zayn dropped another tweet to clarify his stand. The musician stated that “my tweet was not personal or about eligibility” but he wanted to pin point at “the need for inclusion and the lack of transparency of the nomination”. Zayn took to Twitter and wrote that Grammy was also a “space that creates and allows favoritism, racism, and networking politics to influence the voting process”.

As the Grammy Awards is set to air on 14 March, Zayn called out at the awards night on social media and joined The Weeknd as well as Halsey also slammed the Recording Academy in 2020.
