Twitter and social media are flooding with wishes for the new couples on the block, the ace Shuttlers Saina Nehwal and Paruppalli Kashyap tied the knot in a silent ceremony in Hyderabad on 14th of December. The Internet has named it the ‘No Drama’ celebrity wedding. Well, who is to complain anyway but the duo looked fabulous in their ceremonies.
The shuttlers first met while they were training under Pullela Gopichand in 2005. Kashyap revealed that both used to meet each other every day in training thus the love bloomed between the two, he said, ‘We used to meet each other every day in training, slowly we got emotionally attached – our results, our performances.’
Siana too speaks about their 10-year long relationship saying, ‘from 1999-2000 onwards, he has been someone who has always been supportive game wise and whatever issues I had outside the court. I think it was in 2003-04 when it started. It’s just like we are used to each other in that way. We both are very shy. More than love, out friendship, is very strong.’
Here is an absolute throwback picture of the two when they were young and very much in love, well with badminton we mean.

The Commonwealth Games medalists had announced their wedding in October after keeping their relationship under wraps for a decade. Nehwal secured a gold medal earlier this year, while Kashyap finished top in Men’s singles event the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Harvir Singh, Saina’s father said that the wedding ceremony was held at their residence in Orion Villas in Hyderabad with the attendance of around 40 guests, which included only their close family and friends.
Here are some pictures from the couple’s intricate yet heart-touching wedding ceremonies.
Both the players will be soon seen in action in the upcoming season of Pro Badminton League for their respective teams. Saina is playing for Northeastern Warriors while Kashyap is playing for Chennai Smashers in the tournament that will kick from December 22 in Mumbai.
Here is wishing the sports-star couple a lot of well-wishes for their mixed doubles game of life.
