‘The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle’ is back on screen as just ‘Dolittle’ with Robert Downey Jr taking the titular role. With ‘Dolittle’ the producer of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘Maleficent’ are ready to take the audience for a magical jungle safari.
Recently, the trailer of the movie was dropped by Universal Pictures, which starts with a background score ‘What a Wonderful World’ by Daniel Armstrong. A shot of lush greenery and chirping animals all around Dr Dolittle shows his special ability to talk to animals. The movie is set in the time when Dolittle has taken a life of hermit post his wife’s death. Soon his knowledge and wit are required to heal the young queen and he sets off on a journey to a mythical island to find the cure meanwhile finding his lost expertise and courage. On his voyage, he is joined by many wonderful creatures from around the world who slowly become his confidant and help him in his quest.

A day before the trailer was out, MCU’s Ironman has also shared the poster of the movie. Along with the poster picture, he announced the release of the movie trailer in his own style.
‘Dolittle’ is all set to sweep you off your feet with a whimsical tale of an extraordinary man in January next year.
