Rani Mukerji is back on the silver screen, once again as a super cop!
The trailer of her upcoming movie ‘Mardaani 2 ‘is out. She’ll play the role of a fearless and committed Superintendent of Police, Shivani Roy who will fight crimes against women in Kota.
In the trailer, Shivani tries to nab a juvenile who attacks, tortures, rapes and murders girls. With the task to hunt the serial rapist in two days, she puts the whole Kota police force on a day-night duty.
With graphic glimpses of the brutal act shown in the trailer, you will get chills down your spine and feel disgusted by how a human can commit such a crime. The villain is also employing psychological manipulation. This movie is going to be a tough watch, a cat and mouse game with the deadly enemy on the loose.
‘Mardaani 2’ is a sequel of ‘Mardaani’ which dealt with the issue of human trafficking. Directed by Gopi Puthran, the movie is slated to release on 13 December.

On the other hand, Manushi Chillar will make her debut in a period drama based on Prithviraj Chauhan. Starring opposite Akshay Kumar as his leading lady, the former Miss World couldn’t have asked for a better way to step into the film industry.
Marking her entry into Bollywood under the YRF banner, Manushi couldn’t be happier. To begin the film’s production, the cast and crew performed a havan. Posting a video about it on his Instagram, Akshay wrote, “Here’s to auspicious beginnings 🙏 stepping into the world of #Prithviraj. In theatres #Diwali2020! Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the period drama will hit theatres on Diwali 2020.
