On their first wedding anniversary, Bollywood’s most loved couple chose a different way to celebrate their togetherness. Accompanied by their families, the couple visited temples to give gratitude.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied knot last year in Lake Como, Italy, in two wedding ceremonies, one as per Konkani rituals while the second was a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony.
Seeking blessings of God along with their families, DeepVeer offered prayers at Tirumala Tirupati Temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh and Harmandir Sahib, the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab.
During the day, the couple looked very happy after praying to Lord Venkateswara. Deepika wore a red sari with gold zari work and Ranveer wore South Indian attire, a red silk upper cloth with zari border. Sharing pictures on Instagram, Ranveer wrote, “Our first wedding anniversary ✨ Feeling truly blessed 🙏🏽 Thank you all for your love 💕 @deepikapadukone”.
In the night, the Padukones and Bhavanis reached Amritsar to head to Golden Temple. Colour coordinated in their attires, Deepika wore a maroon coloured salwar kameez and Ranveer opted for a maroon coloured Kurta Pyjama.
Deepika took to Instagram to share a picture with her beau, captioned, “As we celebrate our first wedding anniversary, we seek blessings at Harmandir Sahib. Thank You all for your love, prayers and good wishes! @ranveersingh”.
We wish the power couple a blissful married life!
