Today when we draw a graph of deteriorating wildlife, we get an upward sloping curve which is quite frightening for the entire human race too. To bend this curve downward and attain a sustainable future for the entire living entity, Google, the leading search engine company, has brought together its technological advancement with the conservationists around the world.
Through the use of Wildlife Insight, a Google Cloud-based platform that uses AI to analyze the data and give out the information regarding the population and health of a particular species, Google is aiming to create a difference and limit the predicted loss of one million species in the next decade.
The Wildlife Insight has mapped around 4.5 million animals using Camera traps that are set in wild areas while labelling each and every detected species.
This new cloud-based technology will support the biologists and conservationists worldwide who can label 3.7 million pictures using it and with the help of the findings can take appropriate step in improving the species health.

The data collected through Wildlife Insight will also help in reading the pattern of extinctions and change the way protected areas are managed while empowering the local communities to participate effectively in conservation.
