The American professional golfer Tiger Woods has met with an accident and has suffered major leg injuries.
The accident happened on the border of Rolling Hills Estate and Rancho Palos Verdes, near Los Angeles where the vehicle of Tiger Woods went off road and rolled down a steep hillside. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s official statement, the vehicle sustained heavy damages and the sole occupant was the golfer.
In the official release, the Sheriff’s department also stated: “Mr. Woods was extricated from the wreck with the “jaws of life” by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedic, then transported to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries.”
The golf star has to undergo leg surgery and is currently in stable condition. Since the news of his crash has been reported, social media platforms are filled with prayers for the faster recovery of Woods.
Former United States President Barack Obama also shared his prayers by writing, “Sending my prayers to @TigerWoods and his family tonight—here’s to a speedy recovery for the GOAT of golf. If we’ve learned anything over the years, it’s to never count Tiger out.”

Moreover, the organizers of the PGA Tour have also sent out their prayers to the multiple golf record-holder by stating: “On behalf of the PGA Tour and our players, Tiger is in our prayers and will have our full support as he recovers.”
