Renowned designer Anushree Reddy now opens the door for her first ever brick and mortar store at Hyderabad. Known for her ethereal feminine floral prints and the label’s classic handcrafted embroidered pieces and beautifully constructed silhouettes, the store is a perfect representation of her label ethos.
‘Opening my store was at the back of my mind for ages now but the moment did not ever come and now when it has, I’m excited and nervous at the same time. I have received a lot of love over the years now and I hope my new store receives the same. I choose to stock up ‘Sitara’ and ‘Vintage Rose’ collections, as they celebrate the beauty and glory of women. I hope the store offers something for every individual,’ says Anushree Reddy, the self-taught designer and management graduate who made her debut at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013. Her label stands out for its bursts of vivacious colours, glamour, and easy-to-wear garments. Her design philosophy lies in creating elaborate silhouettes brewed with subtle prints and surprising embellishments.
The store will offer a unique service of one of its kind, fully customizable bridal lehenga sessions with the designer herself apart from the existing ready-made lehenga at the store.
Inspired by the romanticism and femininity of vibrant celebrations collections at the store are from the ‘Sitara’ and ‘Vintage Rose’ collections, which are designed keeping in mind the fresh take on timeless and elegant wear. The garments bring together sensual colours with delicate handcrafted three-dimensional appliqué fleur, butterflies, leaves and fictional characters. Additionally, they feature tone on tone thread work that is highlighted with delicate hand-dyed beads to give the garments a soft and delicate appeal.
The store has been designed by the renowned interior designer of Hyderabad Sona Reddy of Room therapy. It is a conceptual, minimalist store with interesting detailing to highlight Anushree’s signature aesthetic. The creative and sophisticated use of gold hardware against the rustic pink walls reflect the superior quality of craftsmanship and ethos of the label. Unique displays with mannequins heads and ceiling suspensions with gilded installations add eclectic touches to the new age store.
