On World Cancer Day, Tahira Kashyap, resonating with the theme ‘I AM and I Will’, has penned down a strong and beautiful poem which she has immortalised with her voice too.
The lady on this day shared a small video of herself on her social media handle where she can be seen narrating about the effect that cancer leaves on its victim. In her poem she also talks about the scars and the mental turbulence that the cancer victims go through and recites, “The fight with cancer is not just physical but also mental, Some battles are more tough to conquer especially if they’re internal. But hear me again, we all have that fighter which has the universe’s might. The indomitable spirit that can’t be crushed by any fright.”
Tahria, who is a cancer survivor, has always been vocal about the life-threatening disease and keeps participating in fundraisers to increase the awareness about cancer.
Her special Insta-post caption also reads: “ World Cancer Day
This is something I had experienced and written about and still mean every word of it! Joining this year’s theme of I AM AND I WILL , I urge you all to take notice of this day, to spread awareness about early breast cancer detection, to remove any stigma associated with it and to celebrate life along with it’s many scars💕”.
