Meet the World’s smallest and lightest full frame camera, Sony Alpha 7C.
The brand new camera of Sony is laced with upbeat features of advanced autofocus, high-resolution 4K video capabilities with a 24.2MP 35mm full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processing engine.
It achieves its smallest and lightest body through upgraded 5-axis in-body stabilization and shutter units, along with the utilization of magnesium alloy monocoque construction.
The Alpha 7C also supports continuous shooting at up to 10 fps with autofocus and auto exposure by using a newly developed shutter unit and refined image processing system.
With a side-opening vari-angle LCD monitor for the ease of selfie recording, Sony has also positioned the MOVIE button on the top of the camera to operate it while recording in selfie mode.
Headphone and microphone jacks are also provided to record sound, and metadata attached to movie footage shot vertically on the camera allows the footage after transfer to the smartphone, to also be replayed and edited in the vertical position.
The new Alpha 7C compact full-frame camera will be available from October end and will come with a price tag of $1,799.99.
