India Couture Week 2020 was underway and much like everything else, it had gone digital. Catching one’s attention, ace designers Falguni Shane Peacock and Manish Malhotra showcased their bridal collection in the first digital show.
Shraddha Kapoor turned into muse for designer duo Falguni Shane Peacock. Coming out with their bridal couture collection, ‘Marry Me in Jaipur’ is inspired by Pink City of Jaipur and its architectural marvels, heritage palaces, traditional arches and adornments in the form of animal motifs.
The showstopper, Shraddha Kapoor looked ethereal in a raw silk red lehenga with touches of fuchsia pink and emerald green thread work details. The lehenga had golden embroidery, adorned with stones, and sequins on animal, floral motifs with baroque detailing. Styled with a matching blouse, it had emerald green stone tassel details along with a red tulle dupatta. The look was completed with soft glowy makeup, smokey eyes and accessorized with a heavy statement neck piece and maang tika.

Closing the first ever digital India Couture Week 2020, all eyes were on Manish Malhotra and his showstopper, Janhvi Kapoor who looked regal like a royal bride in the ace designer’s creation.
Giving a glimpse into his bridal couture collection, ‘Ruhaaniyat- A celebration called life’, a tribute to India’s diverse heritage and soulful artistry, combining Nazakat of Awadh and the vibrance of Punjab.
Janhvi Kapoor’s spectacular bridal look is something we haven’t seen the actor in. She donned an intricately embroidered mint green and gold lehenga, featured white and pink thread work of floral designs. Teaming it with an embellished blouse, it had a plunging neckline, paired with a net dupatta that had a long train and embroidered border. Adding to the magnificent appeal, she wore gorgeous neck pieces, maang tika, earrings with hair extensions, bracelet and rings. Hair styled into a classic bun, her kohled eyes spoke loud and clear that she was the perfect muse for this collection.
