There’s nothing that the multi-talented congenial actor Ayushmann Khurrana can’t do. Driving his fans crazy with his acting skills and bringing out raw topics on-screen to singing a perfect everlasting song ‘Paani Da Rang’ in his debut film ‘Vicky Donor’, Ayushmann is truly a gifted actor with many faces.
Seeing the actor’s graph, now we have started to assume that the Faceless Man of the ‘Game of Thrones’ is right in front of us. The reality TV show host turned actor turned singer turned into the muse for the September issue of Rolling Stone India. During the cover shoot, the ‘Dream Girl’ actor treated the Rolling Stone team with a heartwarming poem in his soothing voice.
In a perfect lyrical style with that melodious voice of Ayushmann, we bet you will feel the goosebumps as he recalls his journey in the industry.
The 47-second video starts with the soft chords of the guitar and then the first line drops. Aptly grabbing the feel of the ‘City of dreams’ Mumbai, Ayushmann says “Jab pehli dafaa aaya tha Mumbai tab bhi ho rahi thi baarish”, and that moment we realize that we are totally going to drool over it.
A more than perfect recital which captures the essence of struggle, the one you can listen while sitting near the window on a rainy day, a flawless poem which brings a smile on your face with tears in your eyes, Ayushmann once again mesmerized us with his poet avatar.
As the poem weaves the journey of a man travelling in second class sleeper coach to touching the blue sky, we start craving for more. In a beautiful end “Uth kar gira, gir kar utha. Chala. Udaa. Aaj unhi thokaron ki Khaatir mere haq mein rashtriya puraskaar hai” Ayushmann infects us with his unquestioned optimism.

The poem was first featured on Ayushmann’s official Instagram account in the month of August post his win as the ‘Best Actor’ in 66 National Awards.
And the words are still lingering in our ears!
