The giant E-commerce company Amazon, a few years back turned our homes into smart homes and introduced to us the use of technology in a rudimentary form.
Revamping our niche, the company with it’s smart assistant Alexa gave a tough competition to Google Assistant and Siri and is now focusing to make a place in our fitness regime.
Getting into the health gadget market, Amazon is bringing its new fitness band and subscription service called Halo.
However, unlike other fitness bands which have a screen, Amazon is going for a really out-of the box and unconventional way for tracking our lifestyle. The screen-less fitness band and its compatible app comes with the usual set of fitness tracking features along with the ways to use our camera to create 3D scans for body fat and detect our emotion through our voice.
The Halo Band is priced at $99.99 and other services will cost $3.99 per month. Apart from it, Amazon is launching Halo with an invite-only early access program today, with a cost of $64.99 including six months of the service for free.
