The second installment in the ‘Stree’ franchise, ‘Roohi’ stars Rajkummar Rao, Varun Sharma and Janhvi Kapoor. Directed by Hardik Mehta, ‘Roohi’ is set for a theatrical release on 11 March and as you await for that, the trailer of this movie is out!
Janhvi Kapoor is a bride-stealer witch for Rajkummar Rao in ‘Roohi’ who turns his life upside down. Its Janhvi vs Rajkummar- Varun where the diva plays the titular role Roohi, a witch who abducts brides on their honeymoon. The heroes are two small-town boys, Veer and Raj who come to the rescue of these brides but get stuck in the forest with Roohi, promising a full-on entertainment.
With subtle details and nuances, ‘Roohi’ will leave you curious but the spooky effects and performances will make it a laugh riot too. Most of the scenes are loaded with amazing VFX and great soundtracks which makes it a complete horror film.
In ‘Roohi’, Janhvi can twist her neck 360 degrees and her feet are turned backwards, filled with witch clichés but her prosthetics make her look convincing. Coming to Rajkummar Rao, he is seen stuttering and this is used as a comic relief in the movie. While Varun Sharma’s comic timing is impeccable and his empathy towards Roohi gives the movie a humane touch.
