Beyoncé released a new single called, Spirit on Tuesday. The song will be featured in the upcoming Lion King movie during a pivotal scene including the character Nala. The song is co-written by IIya Salmanzadeh and Timothy McKenzie alongside Queen Bey herself.
23-times Grammy winner is producing and curating the album for the film inspired by the songs of African artists. Disney is set to release the full soundtrack titled The Lion King: The Gift on 19 July. In addition to The Gift, Walt Disney will also be releasing the original soundtrack produced by Hans Zimmer and Jon Favreau, tomorrow, which includes Can You Feel the Love Tonight? featuring Beyoncé and Donald Glover.

Beyoncé voices Nala in The Lion King. The cast also includes Donald Glover as Simba, John Oliver (as Zazu), Eric André (as Azizi, one of the hyenas) and Seth Rogen (as Pumbaa). The film is set to hit the theatres later this July.
