Conceptualizing premium EV’s, Everve Motors is heading towards sustainability

The man behind the success of this electric scooter startup, Mr. Srinivas Reddy is ready to move heaven on Earth to meet the needs of his customers. Revealing the first EV prototype at AutoExpo 2020 and getting applauded for the results, Pune-based Everve Motors is heading towards a brighter future in this segment.
Talking exclusively with Bold Outline, Mr. Srinivas Reddy takes us through his journey, product functionality and much more.
1.You are the brainchild behind this e-scooter brand. Tell us about the ups and downs that you went through to establish Everve Motors.
Born and raised in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, my dreams weren’t restricted. Curiosity might kill the cat but it got the best out of me. Growing up, I would bury myself into automobile related books and once I had enough technical know-how, I made sure to experience the industry’s facets. The results weren’t uncanny, I developed leadership qualities and an undying affection towards the ‘how it works?’ factor. With the intent of providing designs backed with cutting-edge technology, I started my own venture called Reddy Customs that looks after class automobile personalization, designing and custom remodelling which caters to needs of an elite clientele. Always being a step ahead, the birth of Everve Motors is a result of this. Creating this environment-friendly e-scooter is my way of giving back to nature.
2.How are Everve Motors’ products providing a solution for all those people who are hesitant to adopt EV’s?
The lightweight EV comes with a plethora of advantages that easily sets us apart from the rest. It features a modernistic look, high-tech functioning and seamless commuting, just to name a few. Having a premium quality 3.3Kw motor that comes with a powerful supply system, it delivers the rider with an experience of a lifetime. Within three months, Everve Motors has created a prototype for a sustainable product that speeds up to 110 km/hour making it one of the fastest. This EV requires low maintenance and is built for the long run. One of the finest features is the in-built application with the rider’s information like battery status, location, boost and more. From providing doorstep delivery to constantly being at the disposal of the customers, Everve Motors concentrates on building customer relationships and ensures the proper functioning of the EV.
3.What are the engineering works that you focus on to make Everve Motors reach global standards?
Everve motors aims to be the leader in the premium segment of two wheelers. For this, we need to stay updated with the global engineering terms and deploy quick solutions to customer needs. Also, in the current scenario where every company has to bring facelifts every 9 months, it’s imperative to have the best technological gizmos at our disposal. For the same reasons, Everve Motors strives to have cutting edge 3D printing, CAD-cam, laser cutting and other associated scientific and computerised tools.
4.Orange is one of the colour variants of your e-scooters. Why do you choose this for every model?
Yes, because orange is loud and attractive, at the same time. With two decades of experience, I’ve realized that in the past we have used many colours but orange is truly amazing and inspiring for everyone regardless of the age.
5. Shed some light on the futuristic design of Everve Motors.
The urban commuter looks at functionality and is clear about their choices about which vehicle defines them the best. Everve Motors has a team of designers and fabricators who are always available to tailor and make products based on the customer’s demands. We will see exciting variations of the EF1 in future with various customization options that will engrave our name in the two-wheeler segment. Also, our team is striving to bring out new concepts that we will reveal in due time.
6. Offering a premium experience, what does the future of Everve Motors look like?
Customers will truly get the opportunity to indulge in the experience of developing their own Everve and no longer be bound by showroom visits. This experience will become the industry’s new norm where customers will be able to virtually dress their vehicle and at the press of a button, they’ll get their own custom Everve fabricated at our works with vehicle delivered at the doorstep. Enter a new world where Everve becomes a tool to socialize with others.
7.Which is your most popular model? What makes it known compared to the others?
Overcoming the conventional appearance of the standard EV’s, we have successfully created a prototype of a hi-tech product. The EF1 e-scooter will come with a premium quality battery with a lifespan of 3-5 years. With a top speed of 90 km/hour, this e-scooter will provide the rider with a speed range of up to 110 km/hour, which only a few have managed to do. It’s an amalgamation of essential components that includes an avant-garde look and adds to the feel-good factor. Conceptualized and built within three months, this was one of my dream projects. And when the world is heading towards serious climate change, it becomes inevitable to find solutions to proclaim environmental harmony. With this prototype, my team and I get a chance to embrace sustainability.
8. Taking a step towards climate change issues, how is sustainability quotient part of Everve Motors’ models?
Let’s face it, climate change is real and it’s already happening at a fast pace, hampering the environment at a large level. Eradicating these symptoms may look like a long shot thought, but what’s in our hands is to embrace the change and adapt to measures that will reverse the effects. Automobile industry has come into spotlight due to pollution created by the ICE engines. One faces constant pressure from consumers and the government to become more environment-friendly. The obvious solution to this problem is electrification and EV’s are fuel-efficient, characterized by low emissions.
