Ahead of the Liverpool-Arsenal clash at Anfield Stadium, Liverpool, England on 2 October, the midfielder Thiago Alcantara has been tested positive for COVID-19.
Thiago had also missed the last match against Arsenal which was held on 29 September where the red club, Liverpool won with a 3-1 score, bringing some of the best moves in the Football arena.
Liverpool Football Club also shared the news on its verified social media account by writing, “Thiago Alcantara has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently self-isolating according to the necessary guidelines.
The club has, and will continue to follow, all protocols relating to COVID-19 and Thiago will remain in self-isolation for the required period of time.” along with Thiago’s picture.
