Kanika Kapoor has recovered from coronavirus and after being discharged from the Lucknow hospital, she spoke for the first time by releasing a statement on her social media.
The Bollywood singer chose to be silent as she gave time for the truth to prevail and for people to reach their own realisation. Kanika specified every person who came in contact with her in the UK, Mumbai and Lucknow have been tested COVID-19 negative.
Revealing her travel history, Kanika stated that she travelled from the UK to Mumbai on 10 March and was screened at the international airport. On the following day, she travelled to Lucknow to see her family and did not see any screening set up for domestic flights. On 14 and 15 March, the singer attended a friend’s lunch and dinner where she was in normal health. Only on 17 and 18 March, Kanika showed symptoms and requested to be tested.
Ending her statement, Kanika wrote that she’s been home for 21 days now and wanted to thank the medical staff for taking care of her during a very emotionally testing time.

Apart from this, Kanika Kapoor is enjoying her family time in Lucknow while staying indoors. She posed a candid picture with her father and grandmother who seemed to be engrossed in a funny conversation while sipping on tea and enjoying the cool breeze in the balcony.
Meanwhile, Kanika Kapoor will donate her plasma to help other COVID-19 patients. She approached King George’s Medical University (KGMU) and offered to volunteer for help. Her samples will be tested for haemoglobin levels that should be above 12.5, weight should be more than 50 kg and she shouldn’t have any other such ailments.
