Women empowerment, whether in urban or rural areas, Urban areas always has a higher level of empowerment since women in urban cities are better educated, aware of their surroundings, and are self-sufficient. The age of marriage is not comparable to that of metropolitan regions, and we do occasionally find underage or early age marriages in rural communities. There is a shortage of access to a variety of things, the most important of which is health. There is a lack of access to a variety of resources, the most important of which is health care. They lack the rights to health and education, as well as social and financial freedom, which are essential for women’s empowerment.
In my recent visit to rural regions during Save The Girl Child moment I came across certain things which caught my attention. Whenever it comes to making decisions, rural women are rarely given the opportunity to express their thoughts and opinions. But women in metropolitan locations have more opportunities to exhibit themselves and are outspoken about their choices and way of life. This draws a distinction between urban and rural lifestyles. When it comes to family planning, women in metropolitan regions are given the opportunity to express their preferences, but rural women are not always given such choices. Because of rising population and slower improvement in fundamental accessibility, such disparities stifle economic progress.
Healthcare facilities, which are critical for women giving birth, are scarce in rural regions; such facilities should be considered fundamental human necessities. We have been working on numerous projects to draw attention to the impoverished part of society. Where women and children are denied their right to education owing to a lack of financial means, we have also offered free education to females with all the efforts of MedscapeIndia and its physicians.
There are numerous factors that distinguish Indian urban women from rural women, but I believe that education, awareness, and active participation by women will gradually close the gap. However, there still requires a progression in health, rural health is still not very certain or that there is a progressive change happening since a few years but not to the large. For that we need to provide health care facilities to the people in rural areas on a small scale. We have been providing such facilities to the grassroot level for improving the healthcare facilities in such neglected areas.
However, the society must come forward in huge numbers to provide equal advantages, empowerment, and leadership, as well as financial independence. As a result of the kind of trends taking place in recent times and progress in the various structures of society, there is a distinction between empowerment in rural and urban regions as compared to the prior.
There are several contrasts between urban and rural women, but ongoing awareness, education, and digitization intervention would undoubtedly assist rural women receive equal treatment as compared to metropolitan women. This is a large gap that is gradually closing, but steadily people are learning about the strength that may be offered to the person who lives in the rural region. Change of mindset most important wherever you are by being limitless.
