It’s a happy day for Indian web series!
The International Emmys has announced the list of nominees across 11 categories with 4 nominations in each from 20 countries. Joining this list are three of India’s popular web series, ‘Made In Heaven’ and ‘Four More Shots Please’ streams on Amazon Prime Video while ‘Delhi Crime’ is a Netflix original.
Under the ‘Best Comedy Series’ category, ‘Four More Shots Please’ has fetched a spot. The women centric show follows the life of four unapologetic women, played by Sayani Gupta, Bani J, Kirti Kulhari and Maanvi Gagroo, who explore the highs and lows of their lives together.

Up next is ‘Delhi Crime’, nominated in the ‘Best Drama Series’ category. This crime drama features Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal and Adil Hussain, brings to life the story of a woman police officer, tasked to find the truth of who was responsible for the ghastly 2012 Delhi gang rape case.

Lastly, Arjun Mathur who portrayed the character of gay wedding planner, Karan Mehra in ‘Made in Heaven’ has got the International Emmy Nomination for ‘Best Performance by an Actor’. This show focuses on the dark and ignored sides of the wedding business in India.
