For the first time in history the Emmys Awards went virtual due to COVID but the charm was still there thanks to the stars who made it lively from their comfortable places.
With all the glitz and glamour, the award ceremony took place at an empty Los Angeles theatre with Jimmy Kimmel taking up the main stage. From his warm welcome to ‘pand-Emmys’ to making us all laugh our hearts out with “No-one is in the audience, I’m up here all alone. Just like prom night”, Kimmel proved that he is phenomenal and humour is innate to him.
The show stealer will obviously be the cast and crew of ‘Schitt’s Creek’ as the series back to back won seven awards becoming the talk of town. The audience also had a glimpse of mini ‘Friends’ reunion where Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow brought smiles on our faces.
