‘Paatal Lok’ revolves around a Delhi cop who is in charge of a high-profile case. Four suspects are under custody for an assassination attempt of a well-known journalist. The case turns out to be a maze where nothing is what it seems on the surface. In turn, this leads down a treacherous path and is an interplay of the lives of the journalist and the suspects.
Dropping the trailer of the much-awaited Amazon Prime web series, ‘Paatal Lok’ is a highlight of breakthrough content in the Indian entertainment space. It digs into the real side of the world that is filled with crimes like murders and publishing fake news.
Inspired by the three Indian realms and how the modern world is divided, ‘Paatal Lok’ showcases and describes each of them in its truest sense. The world of business is Swarg Lok, the working section comes under the Dharti Lok and Paatal Lok is filled with criminals.
The upcoming crime drama series, ‘Paatal Lok’ will premiere on 15 May on the streaming platform. Created by Sudip Sharma and directed by Avinash Arun-Prosit Roy, the nine part series features Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi, Gul Panag and Abhishek Banerjee among others.
