The festival season will be upon us soon. Starting with Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtami and Raksha Bandhan and going on Dussehra, Diwali and Christmas, it is going to be a dressing up spree. Not to mention, the wedding season, where brides today want something special in their trousseau instead of the jaded, old fashioned jewellery.
You need to up your style quotient and look your very best at every important occasion. Simply having a wardrobe full of amazing clothes won’t do. Your jewellery has to make a statement too for you to stand out in the crowd—something modern, something aesthetic and something classy!
With that in mind, Falguni Mehta’s 2018 bridal and festive collection concentrates on statement pieces. Keeping fashion trends in mind, Falguni takes classic heirloom pieces and adds her personal touch to reinvent vintage pieces into contemporary masterpieces for today’s generation. To make youngsters say yes to jewellery, she has opted for layering.
Layering is a great way to avoid over accessorising. It is a huge trend this year. Falguni Mehta’s curated jadau pieces are the go-to choice for a destination wedding. Layering or stacking, as done with haars (necklaces) or kadas(bangles) add to the vogue appeal. Falguni says, one can choose either/or so as not to overdo it. An open neck or even a closed neck ensemble with a tier of beautiful jadau layered neckpiece enhances the look. Be sure to keep your hair do simple and chic not to distract from the jewellery you are wearing.
The modern bride is choosy. Gone are the days when you had to mix and match several pieces to give a bride her dream look.
If you are looking for eternal and exceptional designs in jewellery, Falguni’s new collection will cater to your needs. Without being over-the-top, Falguni’s statement pieces spell royalty combined with class.
Crafted with rubies, emeralds, uncut diamonds and Basra pearls, these jewellery pieces promise to add grandeur to the simplest outfit.
The collection not only extends itself to brides, but also to pretty bridesmaids for whom too this is a big day, says Falguni.
