Fighting for the spots for the top 16 in the knockout stage, all the European clubs are pumping up their spirits to lift the trophy and become champions!
Manchester United locked horns with Real Sociedad at Old Trafford but the top 16 qualifying match turned into a goalless draw in the 90 minutes with extra time included too. ManU’s winger Daniel James got a clear-cut chance to get a kick at the goalpost in the 13 minute but he couldn’t turn it into a goal, making a comeback after that was hard for both the teams.

On the other hand, in the 32 aggregate match, Arsenal beat Benfica 3-2 and automatically moved to the next round of the Europa League. Captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang rescued Arsenal’s campaign in this tournament by scoring two goals for his club, in the 21 and 87 minute. Kieran Tierney’s strike also helped Arsenal get a dramatic victory over Benfica.
