In the wake of COVID-19, Government across the world is taking utmost precaution in giving relaxations to ensure the well-being of its citizens. And on that ground, many events which involve huge public gatherings got delayed or cancelled.
As most of the sports federations in compliance with the government authority are getting back on track with new guidelines, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced a further delay in resuming domestic cricket till 1 August.
However, conduction of the game is still on the plate and ECB is looking forward to it after getting a clearance from the UK Government and health experts. Till then Professional Game Group (PGG) is advised to formulate a blueprint which will be discussed with the ECB board in the month of June.
The entire update about recreational and domestic cricket was shared on the official social media page of the Cricket board.
