The Government of India after restoring the commuter services like Roadways and Railways is all set to open the airways with certain guidelines.
The new norm of wearing the mask and maintaining distance is accepted in the usual transport and the same will be followed by the airways too.
The Domestic Civil Aviation service was suspended by the Government in the wake of Coronavirus from 24 March 2020. After facing a standstill of two months the air carriers will be resuming the service from 25 May 2020 in a calibrated manner which seems to be relaxing news for many who are stranded in different cities.
Union Civil Aviation Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri shared this news on his social media page asking all the airports and air carriers to start preparing for reopening by writing, “Domestic civil aviation operations will recommence in a calibrated manner from Monday 25th May 2020.
All airports & air carriers are being informed to be ready for operations from 25th May.
SOPs for passenger movement are also being separately issued by @MoCA_GoI.”
