Deepika Padukone is soaring high on the success of her movie ‘Chhapaak’ which also received huge appreciation from her peers and critics. After playing a strong role of acid attack survivor Malti in the movie, the leading lady is moving forward to step into the shoes of Hollywood actress Anne Hathway.
We all remember Anne Hathway and Robert De Niro starrer comedy-drama ‘The Intern’, where a workaholic woman learns to live her life after spending time with her 80-year-old intern.
Well, to our joy the Nancy Meyers’ 2015 movie has been adapted by Bollywood and will be coming to the Indian screen in 2021 with Deepika and Rishi Kapoor in the lead.
Announcing the same on her social media handle, Deepika wrote, “Thrilled to present my next!🎞 The Indian adaptation of #TheIntern
A 2021 release!
Presented by @_kaproductions @warnerbrosindia and @iamazureent
See you at the movies!
While Deepika’s next is a light-hearted drama, the Dharma Production house is all set to explore the dark sides. The production house that is known for happy-endings and romantic movies is bringing us something out of the box. Releasing a small clip of the movie ‘Bhoot’ on the social media handle, which starts with the iconic tune of Dharma and ends up in an eerie background score, Dharma production wrote, “The plot twist you never saw coming. Let the fear take over because we are anchoring at the shore of horror with #Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship.
