In and as ‘Bachchan Pandey’, Akshay’s new look is out and it will make you do a double take. Sharing the brand new poster of himself in the titular character, the actor has announced the release date of the movie as well.
Compared to the first, in this poster, Akshay as Bachchan Pandey has a scar on his face, an injured eye, heavily bearded and mustache. However, one thing remains unchanged that is Akshay’s aggressive stare and intense expression as Bachchan Pandey in the new look. The bunch of heavy gold chains, red cloth tied around his head and the black lungi with the facial appearance gives out the vibe that the character has come a long way after battling hurdles along his journey.
Releasing on 22 January 2021, the movie also stars Kriti Sanon in the lead.
For a moment, fans thought that Akshay Kumar’s two movies, ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and ‘Bell Bottom’ will clash at the box-office. But the actor has put an end to the confusion!
Announcing the release date of ‘Bell Bottom’ on Instagram, he wrote a hilarious caption with the new poster. Set in the 80’s, Akshay will essay the role of a suave secret agent.
Apart from that, Akshay Kumar along with Bhushan Kumar is presenting the remake of Telugu horror film ‘Bhaagamathie’. Titled as ‘Durgavati’ in Hindi, Bhumi Pednekar will play the titular character. The movie shows the story of a woman imprisoned in a haunted house while being interrogated in a corruption case. Sharing a picture of the movie’s muhurat on Instagram that features Bhumi, the shooting of ‘Durgavati’ has begun.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar’s first ever music video ‘Filhall’ became a hit on Youtube with more than 550 million views. The actor has good news for his fans, the second part of ‘Filhall’ will be out this year!
