Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway took it to her Instagram handle to announce her pregnancy on Wednesday. Hathaway is expecting her second child with her husband Adam Shulman. In a monochrome post with a visible baby bump, Anne shared her joy of expanding the family. She wrote, “It’s not for a movie…#2 ”.
The Oscar winner also took a moment to address the issues of infertility and other complications, that arises during the time of pregnancy. She extended her support to all the mothers who go through a difficult time and said that having children is not easy for everyone, and was a difficult journey even for her. “Sending you extra love 💕”, Anne ended her post.
Hathway after welcoming her first child Jonathan in 2016 has openly talked about the issues she faced postpartum and how getting back in shape was a hard task. The actress had also posted a picture of a cut pair of jeans calling it to be a normal phase where the body goes through many changes and people should happily accept the fact and not be embarrassed.
She wrote, “There is no shame in gaining weight during pregnancy (or ever). There is no shame if it takes longer than you think it will to lose the weight (if you want to lose it at all). There is no shame in finally breaking down and making your own jean shorts because last summer’s are just too dang short for this summer’s thighs. Bodies change. Bodies grow. Bodies shrink.
